The IEC will be holding a pen calligraphy contest for international degree students later this month. We hope that this will stimulate international students’ interest in Chinese writing, and help to improve their skills and appreciation of the art.
1. Contestants: all the degree program students (including SMU - RMU program)
2. Levels: Junior group (English-taught degree program)
Intermediate group (Chinese-taught degree program).
3. Date: April 20-24, 2015 (during their Chinese class)
4. Relevant requirements:
4.1 Students should prepare and use a pen, not pencil.
4.2 Students should choose any content from their current Chinese textbook.
4.3 Writing paper will be offered by the International Student Office.
5. Remarks:
The winners will be awarded by the IEC.
